stripes and pearls

Dear light denim jacket,

I just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think you are. You keep my warm on chilly days. You're a constant reminder of the 80s. You're beautiful, and I want to be with you every day.

Headband: handmade by me
jean jacket: thrifted gap
turtleneck: f21
necklace: handmade by me
skirt: American Eagle
tights: wal-mart
quilted ballet flats: charlotte russe
It's difficult to tell in the pictures, but the shirt is navy not black.


If you have a simple pearl necklace, this is incredibly easy to make. Just take ribbon and connect it to the pearls and tie on a bow. You can even change out the color of the bow depending on the look. easy!

    Thanks for the comment! As for denim shirts, just go to any thrift store. There were at least 10 at the Savers I went to.
